Member Terms & Conditions
These Member Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the MyInsuranceCoach member portal (the “Portal”), a service operated by MyInsuranceCoach (“we,” or “us”). Your membership is also the mechanism through which your licensed insurance agent (your “Agent”) formalizes their service commitment to you.
This Agreement therefore covers two things: your rights as a Portal user, and the service standards your Agent is committed to upholding as a condition of your membership. Both are part of what you receive as a MyInsuranceCoach member.
By activating your account, you agree to the terms set out below. If you do not agree, please do not create or use an account.
1. What MyInsuranceCoach Is
MyInsuranceCoach is a member portal that gives you a clear, accessible view of your insurance coverage and puts the right tools in place to make sure your Agent is showing up for you throughout the year.
Your membership does two things at once. It gives you direct access to Portal features designed to make managing your insurance simpler. And it establishes a formal service arrangement with your Agent — so you know what to expect, when to expect it, and what you are entitled to ask for.
A note on roles
MyInsuranceCoach operates the Portal and sets the membership framework. Your Agent is an independently licensed insurance professional responsible for the advice, recommendations, and service they provide to you. MyInsuranceCoach does not act as an insurer, broker of record, or financial advisor.
2. Account Access
To access the Portal, you must be invited by a participating Agent, create an account using accurate personal information, and accept this Agreement at the time of registration.
Your account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately at info@krs.insure if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you breach this Agreement or misuse the Portal.
3. Portal Benefits
All MyInsuranceCoach members — regardless of tier — receive access to the following Portal features as part of their membership.
3.1 Coverage Overview
The Portal provides a clear summary of your active insurance coverage, including plan details and relevant carrier information. This gives you a single, accessible place to understand what you are covered for and who to contact at your carrier when you need support.
The coverage summary displayed in the Portal is maintained by your Agent and is provided for reference purposes. It does not replace your official carrier policy documents, which remain the authoritative record of your coverage terms.
3.2 Carrier Contact Directory
The Portal includes contact information for your insurance carriers, so you can quickly reach the right place — whether for a billing question, a claims inquiry, or general support. Your Agent maintains this information as part of managing your portfolio.
3.3 Agent Communication
The Portal includes a secure messaging channel between you and your Agent. Rather than tracking down a phone number or navigating an inbox, you have a dedicated, organized place to ask questions, share updates, and receive responses from your Agent. Response time commitments are governed by your membership tier, as set out in Section 4.
3.4 Local Member Perks
MyInsuranceCoach membership includes access to a curated set of local benefits and discounts, available through participating businesses and service providers in your area. These perks are provided as an added value of membership and may vary by location and over time.
Details of currently available local perks are listed within the Portal under your member profile. MyInsuranceCoach makes reasonable efforts to maintain and expand these offerings but does not guarantee the availability of any specific perk at any given time. Local perks are provided independently of your insurance coverage and carry no implication of endorsement by your carrier or Agent.
4. Your Agent’s Commitment to You
Your membership tier determines the level of service your Agent is committed to providing throughout your annual membership. These are not guidelines — they are structured service expectations that your Agent agrees to uphold as a condition of participating in the MyInsuranceCoach platform.
If you have concerns about whether your Agent is meeting these commitments, you can raise them directly through the Portal or contact MyInsuranceCoach at info@krs.insure.

4.1 Annual Coverage Review
Every member receives a structured annual coverage review timed around the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP, typically October 15 – December 7). This is a dedicated opportunity to assess your current coverage, identify any gaps or changes, and ensure your plan remains appropriate for your situation.
Silver members complete this review asynchronously: you make your plan selections directly through the Medicare portal (or equivalent), and your Agent reviews your submission and follows up if adjustments or corrections are needed. This is not a booked meeting.
Gold and Platinum members book an included video meeting with their Agent for this review, subject to a one-per-plan-year limit.
Consultations beyond the meetings included in your membership tier are available as paid video or in-person consults, bookable at any time regardless of tier.
4.2 Mid-Year Check-In (Platinum Only)
Platinum members can book one included video meeting per plan year for a mid-year check-in, to discuss any changes in your household and financial situation that may affect your coverage. This meeting is member-bookable through the Portal — you do not need to wait for your Agent to reach out.
4.3 Financial Review and Private Pension Review (One-Time, All Tiers)
Every member, regardless of tier, receives one Financial Review and one Private Pension (Annuity) Review at no charge, each bookable once per membership lifetime through the Portal. Once used, each is not renewed for the life of your membership.
4.4 Response Time Commitments
Your Agent is committed to responding to messages sent through the Portal within 24 business hours, regardless of membership tier. This commitment applies to the Portal messaging channel.
Platinum members also have a mid-year check-in and direct phone access to their Agent, subject to the same 24 business-hour response commitment — the service differences between Gold and Platinum. For urgent matters at any tier — particularly during an active enrollment period — your Agent may also be reachable by email directly. Weekend availability is at the Agent’s discretion and does not count toward business-hour response commitments.
5. Annual Membership
Membership runs for twelve (12) months from the date your account is activated. The annual structure reflects the nature of insurance servicing, which is built around a seasonal calendar of enrollment periods, renewals, and regular plan reviews. A full year of membership is what makes the service commitments in Section 4 meaningful.
Where access has been suspended due to nonpayment, reinstatement of membership requires settlement of any outstanding balance in full prior to restoration of Portal access.
5.1 Renewal
Your membership renews automatically on an annual basis unless you or your Agent provides written notice of cancellation no less than thirty (30) days before the renewal date. You will be notified in advance of renewal, along with any changes to your tier, pricing, or terms.
5.2 Cancellation
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current annual term. Because the service commitments in this Agreement are structured around a full insurance year, mid-term cancellations are not standard. Exceptions may be considered at the discretion of MyInsuranceCoach in documented extenuating circumstances.
A flat cancellation processing fee applies to all cancellations. Where a member wishes to reinstate a previously cancelled membership, a reinstatement fee will apply before access is restored. Current fee amounts are listed in your membership enrollment documentation.
Upon cancellation, Portal access and your Agent’s service commitments remain in effect through the end of your paid term. No partial refunds will be issued.
5.2a Nonpayment — Escalation Protocol
Where a scheduled payment is not received, the following escalation process applies:
- Reminder — a payment reminder is issued to the email address on file within 3 business days of the missed payment.
- Warning — if payment remains outstanding after 7 days, a formal notice of pending suspension is issued.
- Access Suspension — if payment is not received within 14 days of the original due date, Portal access is suspended. A 30-day access window is maintained from the point of suspension before full account deactivation, to allow the member time to resolve the outstanding balance.
- Reinstatement — access may be restored at any point during the 30-day window upon settlement of the full outstanding balance plus applicable reinstatement fee. Requests received after the 30-day window will be treated as new memberships.
5.3 If Your Agent Leaves the Platform
If your Agent is no longer active on the MyInsuranceCoach platform, we will notify you promptly. Your account will be transferred to your Agent’s managing upline, who will assume responsibility for your service entitlements for the remainder of your current annual term. Subscription payments will continue to flow through that upline during the transition. Portal access will be maintained without interruption throughout this process.
6. Your Data & Privacy
The Portal handles administrative policy data — coverage summaries, carrier contact records, and communication history. We do not store Protected Health Information (PHI) and do not process medical records or clinical data.
Your personal information is used solely to deliver the services described in this Agreement. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Your Agent may update information in the Portal on your behalf as part of managing your coverage.
You have the right to request a summary of the data held about you at any time by contacting us at info@krs.insure. Our full Privacy Policy is available within the Portal and is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.
7. Your Responsibilities
To ensure you receive the full value of your membership, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date personal information when creating your account and when asked by your Agent
- Notify your Agent promptly of relevant changes — such as changes to your household, employment, or health — that may affect your coverage
- Use the Portal only for lawful, personal purposes related to your own insurance coverage
- Keep your login credentials confidential and not share access with others
The value of your membership, particularly the service commitments in Section 4, depends in part on a working relationship between you and your Agent. MyInsuranceCoach is not responsible for service gaps that arise from inaccurate information or lack of engagement on the member’s part.
8. Limitation of Liability
MyInsuranceCoach provides the Portal and the membership framework. We are not liable for the quality, accuracy, or outcome of insurance advice or recommendations provided by your Agent, or for decisions you make regarding your coverage.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim under this Agreement is limited to the fees paid in the three (3) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including any loss arising from coverage gaps or enrollment outcomes.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Portal or to your registered email address no less than thirty (30) days before taking effect. Continued use of the Portal after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Contact & Support
For questions about your coverage or agent service, use the Portal messaging feature to contact your Agent directly.
